Only in America today can you be called a "truther" and the agenda is to make it sound like that's a bad thing.
From 911 truth, to the birther "truth" movement, to any other movement that wants to get to the "bottom" of things where there are "glaring" questions to be answered, it is now becoming commonplace to demonize and mock any such movement in the name of collective acceptance. This stems from the "blind" faith that the public has entrusted in the media. If the media covers or brings it up, it must be true. However if it's not mentioned by the media or the media dismisses it as "conspiracy" or non-truth, than the population accepts it as such. Many Americans have begun to figure this out and the growing numbers of "truthers" is becoming a strong and vibrant movement. Too many, however, are still taking the "lead" that is put forth to them by establishment information sources.
Which form of media should the public trust? Should they trust the independent movement that calls upon the public to read and research what they are reporting and posting, or should they trust the establishment media that "cashes-in" their journalistic credibility to maintain unprecedented "access" to political figures, elites, and the corporate interests that own and operate them?
Remember, the "gulf of tonkin" incident was reported by the establishment media as "real" and legitimate. The same can be said of the U.S.S. Liberty attack, the Oklahoma City Bombing, 911, and other classic examples of misreporting or blatent complacency. It's the "truther" or independent movement that is exposing, digging, and bringing "light" to these subjects by merely going 100% after the truth and using official documents, evidence, and formerly classified info to back it up. The movement also encourages, and even insists, that the public educate themselves, question, and then verify what they are reporting or posting. As I write this, I am insisting that the reader verify my findings, facts, and evidence. Would mainstream media sources make such a recommendation?
The next time you see any type of "truther" demonized by the media or the general public, ask yourself these questions:
-Why shouldn't they ask questions or challenge the
"official story?"
-Isn't that what any logical or intelligent person would do?
-Isn't that why we have the 1st amendment?
-Wasn't that the advice of the founders?
Why would we just believe an "official story" or any "wire" story that is just dispersed throughout the establishment media without challenging it's claims? If it wasn't for independent media and the "viral" nature of information on the internet, we would have never uncovered all the fraud and deception surrounding the hoaxes of "man-made climate change" and the H1N1 fraud. On these issues, the mainstream media was willingly complacent and even had a "vested" interest until they were forced to cover the issues and not ignore them. Even afterward they continue to support, through their corporate and political interests, these agendas without apology or remorse.
We now live in the Information Age and we must support and maintain the independent mode of information and media. We must also continue to encourage and promote individuals to question, verify, and be generally informed about what is reported or posted. We all need to be "truthers" and scorn any media pundit that mocks, ridicules, or attempts to discredit any of you that merely wants the truth and won't back down from being called a "troofer," wing-nut, "tin-foil" hatter, or any other form of personal attack that is beneath journalistic credibility. If they attack the messenger, they tend to not have a message.
